The legal practice del Plato e Associati is set up in Naples as law firm of the attorney Carminantonio del Plato (lawyer who can appear for a client in the Court of Cassation and auditor). In 1989 a second seat is opened in Nola (Naples) inside the CIS, i.e. the biggest wholesale centre in Europe.

In 1993 the main seat of the above-mentioned law firm is moved to the CIS in Nola; anyway a minor seat is kept in Naples. In 1996 the professional association “del Plato e Associati – Studio Legale Associato” is set up thanks to the cooperation between the attorneys Carminantonio del Plato (associating partner) and Claudio Farenga (associated member).

In 2015 the main seat is moved to the centre of Nola.

The law firm “del Plato e Associati – Studio Legale Associato” mainly deals with civil law, with a particular attention to commercial law – bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings, relationships between companies, contracts and agreements, franchising and debt restructuring as well. It mainly acts in the Courts of Naples and Nola and is member of several important professional bodies, both national and international, such as:

1) The European Society for Banking and Financial Law (A.E.D.B.F.), Italian section, a subsidiary of the Association Européenne pour le Droit bancaire et financier , with seat in Paris;

2) The A.I.A. (Italian Association for Arbitration);

3) The A.S.L.A. (Association of the Associated Law Firms);

4) Arbitrator enrolled in the list of the Mediation and Arbitration Chamber at the CONSOB (the Italian Securities and Investments Board) (art. 6 of the regulation adopted with the resolution No. 16763 dated 29th December 2008).
